Chrome Plated Induction Ground Shafts
Our chrome plated induction ground shafts are made of CK 55 material and have a surface hardness of 62+/-2 HRC. Especially in linear bearing housings, low surface hardness (such as 55 HRC piston shaft, only chrome plated non-induction ground shafts, mercury steel) causes scratching on the shaft. This causes the bearing not to run on a clean surface and to fail in a short time. The middle part of the shafts is of normal hardness and it is possible to reach a body of normal hardness that can be threaded by threading the center or by chipping the hard outer surface. In addition, SK series or SHF series aluminum bearings are used for the bearing of the shafts.
