Chrome Plated Induction Ground Shafts
Chrome plated induction ground shafts are made of CK 55 material. It has a surface hardness of 62+/-2 HRC. Especially in linear bearing housings, low surface hardness (such as 55 HRC piston shaft, only chrome plated non-induction ground shafts, mercury steel) prevents scratching on the shaft. For this reason, the bearing cannot operate on a clean surface and deteriorates in a short time. The middle part of the shafts is of normal hardness and it is possible to reach a body of normal hardness that can be threaded by threading the center or by chipping the hard outer surface. In addition, SK series or SHF series aluminum bearings are used for the bearing of the shafts.
