Servo Motor Part Replacement Guide

Electrical or electronic components are subject to mechanical wear or deterioration over time. You can use one of the following methods to check the standard replacement period. Servo Motor Battery Replacement

If the battery voltage drops to approximately 2.7V or lower, the A.830 alarm (Encoder Battery Alarm) or A.930 warning (Absolute Encoder Battery Error) will be displayed. If this alarm or warning is displayed, the battery must be replaced. Refer to the following section for the battery replacement procedure.

Servo Motor Battery Replacement Procedure

When installing the battery in the main controller, set the servo motor control power supply to the ON position.
Remove the old battery and install the new one.
To clear the A.830 alarm (Encoder Battery Alarm), turn the power supply to the servo package to the OFF position.
Turn the control power supply on the servo motor to the ON position.
Ensure that the alarm has been cleared and that the servo motor is operating normally.
