The linear slide, linear rail, has been ground to bearing precision with hardened surfaces to make it suitable for mounting. The bolt center distances for body connection are fixed and suitable for use with socket head cap screws. Short bolt spacing achieves a very high cutting force with the strength of each bolt, connecting it to the machine body. Due to its square cross-section manufacturing, it is highly resistant to vertical and horizontal flexing. For applications longer than 4000mm, the desired travel distance is achieved by using wedges or simply grinding the ends and joining them end-to-end.
