The linear slide, linear rail, has been ground to bearing precision with hardened surfaces to make it suitable for mounting. The bolt center distances for body connection are fixed and suitable for use with socket head cap screws. Short bolt spacing allows each bolt to achieve a very high cutting force, connecting the machine to its body. Due to its square cross-section manufacturing, it is highly resistant to vertical and horizontal flexing.
